I'm sitting on the 24th floor of the TELUS Tower today (Dec 21/09) when out of the snow and wind this dude appears!!! Its not uncommon to see guys cleaning windows in the summer...but...he is replacing the lights on the Christmas Trees strapped to the side of the tower!!!!

Heavy wind, minus 15 and snowing...you can barley see the ground in the river valley

Looks like he is trying to climb in via the window in the second pic??

No worries about me trying to steal your job!!!! Anyone top this job today?

For the right price, I could change lightbulbs that high up and in that weather. Just happens that price is pretty steep....

Hmmm...I think climbing the 90ish feet up to the monkey board on a triple to spend the next 8hrs pulling back pipe on a bit trip would rank right up there if not top how miserable working at heights on a day like today would be.

that's 90 feet off the floor. How high up is the floor from the ground. to me it looks like a 20 foot sub.

Those windboards make it look like you are in the lap of luxury, working derrick was my favorite job, drilling was pretty good too.

24 floors up in those conditions..... he doesn't get paid near enough! So how about the guy whose job it is to rescue him should something go south while he's up there. I used to be on our department's High Angle Rescue Team and we trained for just that event. I don't do that anymore, couldn't pay me enough!

Yeah it's approx. 20ft or 32 stairs from ground to landing when you count the steps.
