i dont know how to fix my warrior. Heres what happened,I was riding and it stalled, I started it again and it would run as long as I didnt give it any gas. so I was inspecting it and the carburator intake boot was craked. I thought when I was giving it gas it was getting to much air because of the boot . so I replaced it and now when it doesn't start unless I put my hand over the air inake on the carb . even then it runs a full rev and im not giving it gas. What do you think it is? I cleanes the carb a few times. I'm thinking maybe the valves need to be adjusted?

Sounds like you still have a leak on the intake boot.Did you install a new o-ring on the head end of the new boot and did you get the clamp in the right place on the carb end of the boot?

That's what it sounds like to me too. Like a boot is off or not sealed properly on either side of the carb. If it looks good to your eye, then try giving a little spray of starting fluid around the boots while it's running at as low of rmp that you can get her to run, and if the bike revs up then you must have an air leak. Don't spray too much...

Or you may just have to adjust your carb?? I'm guessing that you have tried that already.

Good Luck

Check the o-ring. It may have fallen out of the groove when you installed the boot. Everything your telling us indicates an air leak between the carb and the head.

You need to put your hand over the carb to start it; what happens after it starts and you remove your hand.

A long shot... check to make sure the throttle cable is routed properly and that there is some free play in the cable. It is easy to misplace the outer cable at the carb end or free play coupling when installing the fuel tank.
