Did you know Ski-Doo is outfitting all their new REV XP models with PCDS(Pine Cone Detection Systems). The PCDS will beep whenever the sled gets within 50 ft. of a pine cone, beeping faster and faster the closer the sleds gets. Once the sleds gets within 20 ft. of a pine cone, the crankshaft will self destruct to prevent any damage to the REV XP chassis.

I think it was posted somewere else on this site but yeah we are still waiting for the thunderstruck tree riding section with those yammi's :d still waiting for burandt or rasmussen to do one as well maybe schooled 3 will be with a yammi....yeah right

Rev1....Tree1:)

Just got off frisby ridge today. 3 - 4 feet of fresh. Spent all day in the trees on my big turbo nitro. Folowing some friends who live here. They are all on turbo m8 and revs for sure I work a little harder at times but the power makes the nitro effortless in most spots. And then we hit some little hills through the trees and it's my turn. As far as digging out a yami turbo. I try to ride and not get stuck lol. But seriously. You can fall of the nitro walk next to. Hit the gas.through ur leg back over and ur wheeling In seconds. It's kinda hard to get stuck with out major driver error but I will admit I miss my Mcat for the bouncing and playing. I wouldn't recommend a nitro for a smaller guy. And all sleds rock. I'd ride a puma 340 and still have a blast Here's to a safe season fellas!!!!

Looks like you should of been looking up and not at your gauges!..50km/hr really? you look at your gauges before hitting something?...I must be sleeping at the wheel then!

You guys are worse than a bunch of kids... I have both, XP with 860 kit and a 270 MCX Nytro. Both are great sleds and I would ride either on any given day. When it comes right down to it the rider makes the majority of the difference ie experience level etc. I have rode the mountains since the early eighties and have bought 1-2 new sleds just about every year. They range from Polaris, Ski-doo, Artic Cat and Yamaha. All manufaturers have come a long way, believe me. For us to bash each other for who has the best sled is rather ridiculous as what may be the best for me may not work so well for someone else. Does it really matter? As long as you are out the enjoying and promoting the sport who really cares what you are riding. One point I am sure we can all agree on is we need snow!:d

i have to agree, this is getting so out of hand. people bashing people for what they ride..

i dont care who u are. if you have a skidoo u hate eveyother brand, if you have a yamaha same thinkg and it keeps going..

ride what you ride.. have fun enjoy the danm day with your buddys and family. this need to stop. its so annoying. there are ppl back peddeling on here so hard its funny.

the question this whole thread started on was. oppinions. not whos pocket is deeper and whos got bigger balls and or whos a better rider.

if you dont have Seat time on either the e-tec or the nytro (stock) then ur oppinion isnt much good in here.
GROW THE F UP PPL its rediclus how much bickering goes on here

Now I know the Nytro is a 3 cyl 1050cc engine but I'm sure it has way more capability and still be able to fly Yamaha's reliability flag with 150+hp, no?

I've ridden a couple of stock Nytros and they handle not too bad but the engine is a big disappointment IMO. Just signs off way to early, no real top end scream that I saw. Stock for stock, I'd take an XP, I like power and lightweight but thats just me...

Just my .02

yeah, but you ride a CAT so your waaaaaaay down on the food chain............. sorry luke, i could not resist

Yeah and you drive a dodge so therefore your not qualified to have an opinion
