I run duatracs and they have treated me very well so far, I have 20,000 on them and they seem to be holding up fine and the traction on ice is better that the terra grapplers I had on them before, and the fun countries as well, but i did get them siped so that helps but so far im happy with the ware.

I have duratracs on a mega cab. Great life, just turned 70k and still have 25% left. Only drawback is they are loud.

Anyone have any experience with these tires? I ran silent armors on a previous truck and liked them. I need something good for the winter as I drive alot of off road for sledding. I'll have 2 sleds or quads on a deck as well. How would they compare to Duratracs?

You would have better luck running your tires wrapped with ribbed condoms than to use those POS AT/S tires, never again,,.. NEVER!

Haha.

I've never owned Duratracs but I was very close to buying. Reading reviews of ALL tires you have people complain about the mileage they get. It's strange that the majority say lots of miles, then there are a few that say they didn't get over 30miles. I'm wondering if they change compounds in tires depending on size, load, etc. It doesn't appear to be truck related (diesel, etc).

That being said, there is a HUGE following of Duratracs for the offroad and light truck community. There's a reason many of Tacoma's, 4-runners, Land Cruiser, run Duratracs. As an all around performer, they do great.

From researching I've found the AT2 (General Grabber) is a solid choice for light to mid trucks who don't offroad as much. The huge benefit of COST. Canadian tire has the 3/4 sale again this week. If you don't want CDN tire, tell Kal Tire/Fountain Tire or whoever carries them to price match.
