25 cms last night in the village and it's still snowing! Summit snow depth is about 50cm

another 5 cm today... Team brp snow xers have been pinning it around the mountain with the new 2011 sleds for a couple days. Good to hear BRAAAAAP all day long!

not enough coverage for me for me until now. Gonna go for a rip this weekend that's for sure!

i'm not sure thunderwater is rideable, might not be enough ice. i've heard over a meter of snow at the cabin but it's been so warm nothing is frozen underneath. the meadows are still wet if you trench through the snow.

Sure looks a lot different in the summer! I guess that's the difference between can and should. You can ride up there but the law says you shouldn't!

It just occurred to me this is likely Jumbo Glacier not Catamont... Looks like a vehicle in the foreground, I don't think you would get a vehicle that close to Catamont.

hehe, not either of those glaciers and you can drive a truck right to it.:d
it is heli ski terrain but not until Dec 8th, here's a winter shot

I don't know if there is an official date, usually before and after heli ski season.
Heli operation may not be flying in there in the near future:(
