Monty is doing good. he got his heavy duty mechanic ticket and works for a pipeline company. has two kids now. one girl that must be 15 ish and a boy that must be 13 ish. have not seen him for a few months if i see him i will tell him you say hi. he might be in the market for a new sled. lol all he ever talked about was a zrt 800 he had back home that used to blow the doors off everything on the lake! im sure that 1100 turbo wuold be right up his alley.

ya i remember the stories ...got it off the train... faster than lighting...lol...he was a good guy him and rhonda.....they only had a girl when they were here... my two little girls are 20 and 22 -oldest married with my first granddaughter.. ... for sure say high....tell him the employee discount is still on...lol

Changed my mind on the M8, Your right Terry my dealer had 5 whites and 5- 50th M8's but only in 153, so I bit the bullet and checked the M1100T 50th. now I won't sleep till Sept in antisapation. Next decision is weather to keep my '09 M1000 or not.

M1100T to the M8 both stock obviously the weight will make the M8 better in the trees. At the demo ride in Idaho at 8000' I can tell you the M8 was having a little more trouble keeping up. I'm a 4 stroke guy so I've learned to ride the weight and coming off a TApex the M1100T is a very easy to ride. 30 minutes was enough to convince me that this was the last of 4 years on the Yami. Very nice job for a factory sled.

Guys who ride 4 stroke already will be impressed. Hard to convince hardcore boondockers they should give up 2s, and they shouldn't. They will always be lighter. I don't mind the weight at 300+ :d

I was really pondering a new M8,but I think I'll wait a year, quite happy with my 2011.I will not ever buy a new sled again with out a demo ride, jeez we don't even get to see or sit on one.Are you buying based on the pics and vids on the net?? I think if the sleds are really that good they should have had demo sleds ready sooner, just seems kinda fishy too me, jmo.Plus you would think they would have droped more weight.

Why should they give demo rides? Do you get to take a dirt bike for demo rides? Why are so many people complaining about this?

And I am buying based of the fact I love my snopro 600R and these new chassis are designed off of all they learned from racing that chassis. You can wait all you want, the guys and girls that sacked up and bought '12 M's will be happy.

Do you buy a new truck without test driving it? If I was dropping 14k+ on a new sled I'd sure as hell want more than a brochure to go by.

It's not a truck. It's a toy.

Some of you just need to chill, you'll be able to try one out next winter lol.
