I hear if you stay at his lodge and out ride him its free. He's still in business so I'd guess a lot of people pay.

The guy can ride... go back and look at some of the old video of him before he was paid and given sponsors... ya it's annoying all his self promoting but that's his job polaris pays him to get as much camera time as possible and he does a damn good job of it but you don't get major companies like polaris to just hand you stuff to ride if you are just some joe blow

There is no doubt the guy can ride. But there are tonnes of guys out there that can. Hes just really good at promoting himself. Too good......to the point that you cant stand him.

This. I also can't stand the fact polaris throws a bunch of sleds at him then he puts 20,000$ into each one. Show us what they can do stock that's what sponsorship is about IMO. Then again al his aftermarket stuff is sponsor too. But no doubt he can ride.

He's a good skinner no doubt. Anybody that doesnt think so has a pretty high opinion of themselves.

If its all you do then best be good at it...

I would like to see the stuff on the cutting room floor though... Like on Thunderstruck where they show the riders making mistakes and getting stuck or falling off. A bit more real life stuff instead of the ole hop over e-v-e-r-y single time. Yawn.

Also I think if I was 80lbs lighter and my sled had 80hp more and I rode 80 more days per season would help the show a bit haha. Apples to apples. Ps I dont think I'm a great rider but I sure have fun!

Stock doesn't sell videos though. He has even said he turbo's the 155 because it makes for better video but if he was just riding would rather be on a 163. It's all marketing. Is he a good rider? Yes. Are there other guys out there that can ride just as good? Yes. It helps that he came from the race world and was already a known rider. If Dan Adams was 20 years younger maybe he would get the same attention.

I can't stand his video segments. I stopped buying videos because of how much he was in them and the same scene was in every video, the same riding area used time and time again. But, just like the ridiculous video channel he has, there is a market for him and some people will buy anything he puts his name on.

What he can do on a sled is pretty damn impressive, he makes the maneuvering look so fluid. I'd say he is probably one of the best technical riders out there. KJ is probably the best all round rider, though.
