So I live west of Edmonton around range road 25 and 30 "the quarter section from hell". Its so tracked up now that I don't enjoy going in there anymore ... in the middle of summer your still winching every 20ft it seems. Not too mention a bizillion other riders.
Last summer went to Brazeau alot but hear this year its closed down. I would be really happy with regular trails, something that my 14 year old could ride on her dirtbike. Not too much mud or aleast a way around it for her. Any thoughts on locations that could accomodate a 28ft fw pulling a 17ft trailer.
I usually field camp. :beer::beer::d:beer::beer:

The Bighorn comes to mind, good for a dirt bike, hard packed trails, fairly easy. Random camping. It might be closed though until July 1 south of the dam because of the wet conditions. North of the highway would not be good for dirt bike, very muddy and rutted.
This location is about 20 minutes west of Nordegg, look for the Bighorn dam sign along highway. Cadomin is also hard packed and mud holes are avoidable most times, but you have a more challenging terrain because you are in the mountains, she would have to be pretty experienced, I think. My 13 year old son handles all this just fine but he is on a quad. My secret location is way to wet.
