Where do I start to increase performance on '08 MXZ Renegade X 800R

I recently bought a '08 Renegade 800R with the X package. I love the machine but I want a little more pop out of her. What are the best upgrades to start with? I dont need a 400 HP machine but I do want some more snap. I was thinking of a pipe and a can. If that is a good place to start what brand is good for my application?

for the money that a pipe and can cost I wouldn't waste the money for what you get other than a loud machine. I would start with the clutching and gearing mine pulls 110 mph on the dream o meter on a good hard pack with some distance:d:d

X2 on clutching, either a DJ kit, or if you have the time and knowledge, you can buy the 08 race book from doo, $70ish, and play with weights, springs, ramps and stuff yourself.... DJ is quick and easy, phone or email specs of sled and where and how you ride, he'll send you all the stuff that you can put in, or take to local shop to have done.


The Doo pipe is one of the best you can get on a stock machine, unless you like tuning, MBRP can is a nice one, that will not sacrifice power, but will make it louder, and lose about 17-20lbs.
