Hey guys I was wondering when the snow shows typically start in the Calgary area? Are there any south of the border that you guys know about that would be worthwhile?
I'm in need of a few things for next season but would like to try some things on

Hay Days is Sept 6, Washington is same weekend as Edmonton and there will be a swap meet in Calgary at Spruce Meadows, not sure on date. There are others in Idaho but can't remember dates.

Calgary one went on hiatus for a few years, Edmonton is definitely the better show for deals.

Edmonton is worth the drive. Calgary has a lot of catchingup to do.

The Calgary show is Nov. 1-2. The show will be smaller than the Edmonton show as it is being held at Spruce Meadows in conjunction with the Ski show. The sled portion has its own building and different from the Edmonton show, the Calgary Snowmobile Club will be hosting a swap meet as well. This is the first year in a while that Calgary has had a show so it will be good to have it back. Aside from the indoor show, we hope to have about 30 swap meet booths and a large selling ring full of used sleds and trailers. With the ASA supporting this, we hope to make it an annual event that will grow in the future. So get all those extra parts together that are collecting dust in the garage and put them in the swap meet so you have some extra bucks to spend on sledding this year.

That is awesome to hear, happy to see its back to how it sort of was when they held it at AGRO years ago, outside etc. Definitely glad to see it get away from the high priced Saddledome and the $15 parking fee, $20 entry fee, very high priced internet and booth square footage for the vendors etc. Hopefully this will allow more vendors to attend and in turn draw in more spectators.

It is a good show and they always have a beer garden!

On the Friday night, one can usually walk around the show drinking beer until security realizes what's happening.

we always go to the fernie booth, kinda slow on the beer but always have a few laughs. i sicked arff on fernie snowman last year, that was hilarious.
