One of the clubs sent out their news letter and these comments were part of it. It's just one side of the story, but If true, or other clubns feel this way, then it raises some questions about the ASA's mandate?

Name of club protected.

"************ Club will NOT be participating in the 2011 Alberta Snowmobile Association
(ASA) Show on October 22-23, 2011. It appears to the ************ Executive that the ASA has lost sight of its role to assist member clubs with trail development/maintenance, delivery of safety education programs/community projects and club exposure in favour of generating huge profit for the association. It is very unfortunate that *********** and the ASA Office could not come to a better agreement on our booth rental space.

*********** will continue to be a ASA member club and support the ASA through trail pass sales and promoting participation in events hosted by various ASA clubs such as the ASA Jamboree, Poker Rally’s and destination rides. Please purchase your memberships and ASA Trail Passes from ********** as a portion of every trail
pass we sell through our own club, comes back to ********** and into the ********** trails, events and functions."
