So I was having issues with snow clogging up my BDX air filter. Only the real light fluffy stuff but it was a pain in the butt. So I put frog skins on the rest of the hood (other that the little slotted ones below the windshield) now I seem to have a weird bog. If I pull full throttle for 5-10 sec then go to half throttle (67-6700rmp) then try to hammer full throttle again it just bogs and sounds like carp. I have played with the BD box and have it at the best settings so I don’t think its going to rich. I thought maybe too much exhaust is leaking out under the hood and getting sucked into the intake. Tried using the red high temp silicone on the donuts but it just melted outta there with out a trace(lol) anybody have any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong?
Also there was no snow or water in the air box while it was doing this. plugs look good as well!

Year/Model of sled? Probably a fuel problem.... I have that intake, and do not experience any bogs at all. It's coupled with an SLP pipe and I have a PCV for fuel control. I've never gotten the exhaust bog everyone speaks of. I was getting some snow inside from the start, I had to seal my hood in the front with foam, and silicone every single crack.

Yeah its a 06 M7 with a 900BB on top. was running like a stud on the weekend but was out ripping around today with the nieghbour and now this. and yeah its a pain trying to fill every little crack to not suck snow in. Fuel might be the issue here. more poking around tomorrow after night shifts!
