in winter of 1978 I picked my wife up on a Polaris TX 650 that I just bought from a good freind & oval racer, the late Glen Shaw , it was already outdated by the new Liquid cooled racers.
she lived 1/4 miles from a little lake about a 1/2 mile by 500 yds wide with a beaver dam along one side.
it was dusk, this Ole Polaris had no light or mufflers.but they did have long seats.
so she climbed on back of this Noisy Monster and away we went, I took it easy on first lap of the lake, and then we jumped the beaver dam at about 60.
She was still hanging on, and still is today after 32 yrs of sledding and quading.

met my wife in high school, both of us lived in the same town all our lives but never met until grade 10 when she came over from the catholic school. I used to ride my '79 Citation to school and gave her a ride on it one day. that was in '83, we started going together in '85 (I remember because I bought a brand new '85 Formula MX), got married in '95 (I remember because I bought a brand new '96 MXZ 583). December 2nd was 24 years.....and 7 new Ski-Doos together....:D

First ride with mine, she rode my 81 Invader 440. Although I told her we would always wait for her before leaving a field she felt she had to keep up. Long story short, she launched off an approach and fell off breaking a couple ribs. I can probably count on one hand how many times she has rode since. I still ask her to come with but she just won't. Maybe someday.

1975 Moto-Ski Nuvik. She rode it straight into the ditch! Still riding today, but she's a little better at it now. ;)

Hmmmmm, I wonder where that Moto-Ski is now!

2004 Vertical Assault 800 159.....Now shes on a 2003 Viper mod, that my XP has troubles keeping up with. Lightweight everything you can imagine, tunnel, rear skid, hood, trailing arms, etc etc. Bender Pipes, ported, head, K&N pods, the sled rips. I tried to pass my Rev down to her, but she didn't like it..... too "tippy" apparently, but she does amazing on that Viper.

I proposed to her up on a Mtn ridge overlooking Fernie, on a beautiful bluebird spring day. A moment we'll never forget
