Alpine Country Rentals is looking for a Snowmobile/ATV Mechanic to join our team. The position is suited to a highly motivated individual that loves motorized outdoor recreation and living in a mountain community. We are a very busy and well-respected business located in Valemount, BC.

- As soon as possible
- Valemount, British Columbia
- Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs on snowmobiles, ATV’s, small engines, etc…
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
- Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies
- Accurate completion of work orders and invoices
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Other mechanical repair work as necessary
- Inspect and test engines and motors to diagnose and isolate faults, adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment
- Prepare pre-check and post-check reports on rental equipment
- Parts look up, cash handling, customer service
- Experience within the snowmobile/powersports industry
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Proven mechanical abilities in motorized repairs
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Shop environment
- Work both indoors and outdoors
