Friend had his sled deck ramp stolen. If anyone has one kicking around for sale, please let me know thank you.
His deck is a Marathon.

We noticed in the Boulder parking lot when leaving on Friday tons of nice aluminum ramps hanging off the back of trucks and decks waiting for an opportunist. There is to much trust out there and the thieves know it.

I lock my ramp to my deck when I go sledding for the day IF I leave it out. The sad thing about my bud is that he hasn't gone sledding in a couple weeks and his truck has has been in for work, so it went missing sometime over the last two weeks while it was stored under the deck! Poor guy.

Anyways...if anyone has one for sale please let me know. Such a pi$$ off for him.

Put the damn thing in the place were it was designed to go and quit plugging up the lotssssss.
There is a reason we have have decks and trucks....... minimize parking spots...
Marathon sells ramps.
Was it secure in the bed of the truck?
Was it locked up with a secure tailgate lock?
Holy cr[.......Insurance will pay for it>>>>>>>>>>>
If not, suck it up and pay for a new one........

My buddy bought a marathon ramp for his old deck and without measuring his clearance. Deck was 2 " to skinnny for the ramp to fit without major mods. I beleive the ramp is now sitting beside his C-can in my yard collecting dust. It is for a short box. I can see how much he wants for it. I think it was 600 when he bought it but if he has no use for it mabey you can get it cheaper.

haha, did you try the other key? lol we had a brand new tool box in back of truck, guy closed box with a key on the key ring, went to open it at a job site, wouldn't open, keys were taped to the lid in the box. needless to say the box was uckfooed after that.

some days ya just can't win.

Kind of like putting an @$$hole response to a thread without reading it all?!

Here's one of my posts

:) And yes insurance will pay for it, but depending on his deductible it may not be worth it in the end.

Out of curiosity now...I have to ask. Is leaving a sled ramp placed out really that big of a deal like kimrick is making it seem? I'm new to the sled deck world, but 90% of trucks I've seen since I got into sledding all leave their ramps out.

Depending on the area, room available etc I leave my ramp out locked to my deck, but I've started heaving it on top of my deck and locking it up there so no one runs it over.

What is sled deck ramp parking lot etiquette?
