Valemont January Conditions

I wanted to start a new thread for the month on the conditions as some of the other posts are like from november. So if anyone has any updates can you please fill us in.

wwas there just this past weekend and there was good snow but not a very good base yet. was hitting rocks on the way up some climbs

Rode Allen Creek yesterday, lots o' snow still, warm weather, didn't hit anything. Only thing that could been better was visability. (wasn't totally socked in) Id say there was 1.5 2' of good powder. Still lots of untouched as there was very few people out this weekend. Hillclimb was nearly untouched. Wish I coulda taken some action pics but I had way too much fun riding and spend a lot of time digging and rolling sleds to get em unstuck. Get out there asap tems are supposed to be above 0 for quite some time now with no snow in the forcast! BOO (but we all know weathermen are just throwing darts at a board when they forcast the weather)
