Trout fishing along Hwy 16 in BC???

I am going on a motorcycle trip this coming week and part of the trip includes Hwy 16 between Prince Rupert and Prince George.
We are talking along some fishing gear and have a couple of extra days we could stop and fish.

Does anyone know where there might be some good Trout fishing along this stretch of hiway??

Many great lakes along that stretch of Hwy. Little tough without a boat in some though. Try Cobb lake near Vanderhoof. You will see the signs it is down Finmoore road, just before the Cluculz rest area. To bad i,m away or i could show you some lakes. Have a great trip !!

There are lakes the whole way with signs and directions. Once you get to the rivers though keep in mind the coho and pinks are running and you will forget all about trout.
