Trimming a track to make it 15 inches wide

Just wondering how a 3inch challenger extreme holds up to being trimmed down to be 15 inches wide and what are the downsides to this. I have an 2007 m8 so i would have to do this I beleive.

From what I know they hold up as well as a 3" track does in it's 16" wide form. No go too fast on hard packed trail

They work and hold up awesome. My cousin has one on a 12 pro and has had it on every since hes owned it. Its been to the mountain plenty of times and works amazing. I got a chance to ride it this weekend in deep powder and woo you will be impressed. Just make sure you run it on powder because the 3" should not be ran on limited snow conditions.

They hold up well 500 miles on mine looks good.

Just make your bulkhead 16 in wide.
