We have been hard at work the last couple of days revamping a 2008 M6. To increase performance we have used lite weight parts from Skinz.

The old suitcase

The new Skinz Super Q Can

The Arctic Cat Extension removed

The hood frame just returned from a welding shop, where a small crack was repaired and the tubes straightened back out. This hood seen a lot of abuse last winter and I was quite surprised at how well it handled it.

The running boards installed along with a Skinz seat kit, getting close to done.

Here is a close up pic of the boards with the studs in

We used the Cyclops lights for the hood and the stock gauge:

Finally a shot of all the parts we cut off or took off...the hood is missing from these pics:

I love those running boards! I believe they will be the answer for finally getting rid of that packed snow on the boards, and they look great too!

did i miss it or did you post how much weight you cut off....

We did not do a before and after weight, but a guess would be a lose of 20 - 30 pounds between the hood, seat and suitcase. It's amazing how heavy the stock seats are even when dry. One thing is for sure with the Skinz boards and the tunnel kit, if this thing ever gets stuck it's going to be a very very deep trench... :(

How do you like that seat? I was looking at them after I had already bought the Boss. Not that I went wrong with the boss but I like the looks of the skinz seat and would give it a go if its comfy HAHAHA
