Imagine that, a rough railroad crossing on a highway. Some pretty neat video none the less

I witnessed a similar incident in Spruce Grove on the tracks right behind Zender Ford lot, cars were jumping the rails to the road crossing the approach had sunk and the cars crossing the road were jumping at least 3-4" off the tracks. Freaked me out.. sparks, crashing, banging I was at the front and boxed in made me so uncomfortable I though about getting out of the vehicle. So I called CN and said you have got an issue... well you would have thought I called in a bomb threat, 50 questions about who I am what am I doing there etc... It took them well over 1 month to repair the crossing. My faith dwindled in rail safety after that.

Video shows why everyone I know that owns a sled for local riding in the Saskatoon area is strongly considering selling them and quitting the sled game.

2 hours north there is plenty.... and the picture is from before the last few storms.

The railway is unorganized kaos. Farming has been a part of our country for god knows how long and the railway still manages to find a way to screw it up year after year. Amongst other shipping chit shows.

Defeats the point of "local" riding. Loading up and spending 4 hours of your day travelling isn't ideal for most guys. If going on a road trip, it's usually to the hills....
Well 2 hours north of stoon, maybe 2.5.... that spot there is an hour from my door step. I usually drive that to get to riding areas once I've driven 10 hours to BC.

When one drives close to 70,000 km a year, a 2 hour drive is barely a drop in the bucket. Myself I'd rather drive the 2 hours and sled than bitch and wine about how the snow is no good in my back yard and stare at my sled in the garage. But to each their own.

They were saying on the radio this morning that it was back open both directions, and at regular speed. Some lady called in as well saying tracks were back in operation, because she was stopped this morning waiting for one to pass.

I haven't seen it myself, just what my sister sent me today... I too also heard they had the tracks repaired. Lots of grain that still need to be shipped from the north.
