Trails by Barrhead

Just wondering what the riding was like around Barrhead. Would like to go riding tomorrow and we are undecided where. Was thinking Barrhead if there are some good trails. Anyone welcome to come with us. :d

The Timeu Creek OHV Rec area is great. Just north west of barrhead on 661 on the west side of the Klondike ferry crossing. ...usually referred to as Vega.

Long Island Lake is also pretty close - great riding, not too busy.

Timeu Winter Forestry road is pretty good if ur into mud riding and vega's my personal favorite but thats because i ride a sports quad
Theres a mix of sand hills and also some pretty good mud and awsome trail riding at vega
I will be in vega on saturday with a couple friends
