Morning friends , having been to Saskatchewan a couple times deer hunting in the past I was impressed with there trail systems that seemed to allow multi day routes if a person wanted to do a big roundabout sorta thing . I was wondering if northern albera might have such a network of trails that might offer something like that ? Maybe some backcountry fishing for pike/ pickerel and remote camping of said slender had the capabilities to camp out in the winter . Being in my mid 50s now and thinking of buying a new sled , I'm just not sure about another mountain machine . I like the idea of nice trail rides and such . Your input is appreciated thank you .

I've always enjoyed the trails up north and west. The Golden triangle is a nice run (Whitecourt-Fox Creek - Swan Hills) and I was really impressed with the McMurray trail system when we did a few rally's up there

Golden triangle in Alberta is a sweet set up. Can race down it in one insane big day. Or spend three days or more.

Unfortunately we haven’t had rideable snow in 4 years and constant pipeline work, logging and very low snow makes it a bitch to try and get around the work and back to the trail. If you have an old $hitty sled bag away, I would absolutely not ride anything nice around here

Northern Saskatchewan us some great trails,
If your not doing mountains in you mid 50’s go with a trail machine, Expedition is a great unit for you, fishing and trial unit
I want to do the triangle but only when they have good snow, not enough yet

I just heard a rumour here at work that there is about 3’ of snow up in the Virginia hills. I can’t verify as I quit sledding but I heard it’s deep enough to get stuck

I'm actually looking at a skandik for my next machine , I enjoy ice fishing and even going out with my skimmer and poaching firewood behind my house for my shop . I currently also have a old 89 longtrack safari .
