would a honda 420 have enough power to spin tracks? i know my top end will be little but if i keep it in 4 wheel drive and frist and second gear will it be enough power just looking to get into some lakes u cant drive into in the winter and dont want a sled,might be fun in the mud as well come spring can be wet here

there was a guy on here with them on a 300 sportsman thats got less power then my 420 right. i have seen them on 450 foremans.

Had them for 1 yr on my 300cc Polaris Hawkeye. Slow but would climb like stink. Had them on a 455cc Polaris and it was a great performer. They're now on a 550Xp Polaris.

What a lot of guys don't realize is that your top speed is usually cut by 50%.
I normally cruise @ 14-16 mph. Fuel consumption doubles.

remember with tracks your final drive is restricted to the diameter of the drive wheel, ie the wheel you bolt to the hub, so if your quad comes stocks with 24" tires and the drive wheel is 12", you just had a 50% gear reduction, thus increasing tq, but decreasing overal top speed.
