What has it been like getting into places like brule or graves flats so one can use the toys you haul
Clearance
Wear tear on parts and axcels
Any feed back would be great

I think you need to start by defining "large" are we talking 40 foot triple axle or 30 foot tandem axle?

Ours has as much or more clearence than our old bunk 5th wheel.

Biggest thing would be mud and weight.

Going to need to get chains just in case.

We have no problem with our triple axle Raptor. Can get in all the spots. Tire chains help when it's muddy.
Bring some boards to fill in the odd hole so the sewer pipes clear. Like Tex said they are higher up also.

Thx tex and arff hey arff did you get a new unit or is it still your bumper pull

Same one. It's been great. Would like to sell it since we decided to have 1 Rzr and a old hunting quad.
Would like a 5 th wheel toyhauler.

What's nice with the bumper pull is I could put my 850 xp and the Rzr inside..No garage all open.

Plus fill your truck box My original idea was a bumper pull and I can put my prowler in the back of the truck to quads in the garage or whatever but now we switch to the dirt bikes so i can fit the prowler and 2 bikes got lots of room in the garage should be an interesting summer

Look state side. Boss just picked up an 08 38' fifth triple axle. Can't remember brand off top of my head but same as the one he has here. Anyways paid 11g near mint upgraded mattress satellite finder etc low miles still original tires.
Now he has one here and on with his boat on the coast. Life's ruff I guess lol

as tex said tire chains are a must with one of these heavy units all it takes is wet grass and a little hill. I built a set from old rig chains.. a little overkill perhaps but have worked well, never needed them on the actual roads but to get out of camping areas onto road

Yep, I've had to chain up the Freightliner a couple times to get in and out with my 40', even had a steering chain on once. It'll auger a deep enough rut to go fishing in, but I've never been screwed. I use Super Singles...nice and light.

If I ever get my new rig I will be sure yo get the chains then
How about the twisting of the frame and axcels over those bumps any feed back

I have had 2 toyhaulers. Never had a issue. Just drive slow fill in the odd hole with wood blocks. Make yourself a fairly smooth path.
