So far the BC NDP haven't got that figured out yet. Ours is free for household garbage. Appliances, batteries, and propane tanks, have no charge. Tires there is a charge.

Even construction material (shingles, scrap wood, old paint, broke up concrete) is not charged for.

Red Deer county transfer station here is 5 bucks for truck load. 15 for trailer up to 8 feet. 40 for trailer over 8 feet. They also have the right to refuse any construction material and have you haul it to horn hill station. Prices are approximate.

Our attendant is really good. Looks at your load regardless if it’s in a truck or on a trailer and charges accordingly.
