looks like a bit of tree cutting? were you in a creek?
One of our favourite meadows (there is no water in the meadow) with no hazards. The first carving we've done all season albeit in only 70 cm of somewhat chitty snow. Everyone knows and I tell the people new to the area that this is safe; no rocks nor stumps but be careful of the creek and all it's fingers at the back. Well sometimes chit happens. A very gentle, slow motion left ski through some rotten ice. 3 trees (some for leverage, some for holding the skis up) and 3 hours later we got it out. Generally, the ice was 3-4" thick but with creeks there are always some weak spots caused by the current. That is what the left ski found! Just like being stuck in the skeg and the suction of the mud was incredible on that ski. I will say that the BCA "hoe shovel" handled breaking that ice quiet remarkably.
