so mr fernie has the snow pack started to settle down some yet?

Quite a variation in the snow pack around the area; I read today that they probed 200 cm in Corbin, another group probed 192 cm in Barnes, I have seen 135 cm in the top end of Alexander, and anywhere from 100 cm to 120 cm west of Elkford. The snow pack itself has been prime for slab releases with the last storm snow (Tuesday/Wednesday of last week). Still lots of hazards, IMHO, west of Elkford. Haven't heard a definitive on Fernie and I haven't ridden there yet this year. Does that provide what you need to know??

yup, thanks, info from fellow sledder is generally the best. will let snow settle some before going out. maybe wait till january sometime, rolling hills are usually good, i can wait for good conditions. hopefully the snowpack settles in.
