I will add the two pieces of a split 10" log when I go to bed and it will still have good coals in the morning.

That is all my brother used on the island.

In Merrit he has a wood furnace.

I have a main floor stove that I use until the weather gets too cold. Then I use the furnace in the basement. If this weather lifts the furnace won't be a thought for awhile yet. But at -20 it is getting close to being used.

Some city are not allowing wood burning fireplaces anymore on new homes
