I think whoever says no to a tether is a moron. Things can go south in a hurry.

EFI mountain sleds should come with the as standard equipment! Now that I have rode with one, I don't think I could ride without it again.

Never wore my tether, now that it cost me $1500 to rebuild my 1000 that only had 10 hrs on a complete rebuild because it sat upside down for 5 mins wide open before I got to it, I will probably tether

When I first found this site I was looking up info on them. Somewhere there is a thread about a run away sled through a fence that decided to head into the basement to watch some tv. I'd find it but I'm on the crapberry so it would take forever. After seeing those pics I even have one on the banshee. Someone want to find it and link it? I'm sure most of you know the thread I'm talking about

Even with the tether shutting the sled off, if the downhill is steep enough the sled will keep going, and going and going. I watched mine go about 400 feet until a tree stopped it.
