The tensioner is way differant, it comes with a speed sensor. I've looked at the c3 and IMO this is built a bit better, yah can use the stock can.

Yes the top gears are aluminum.
I did this quick as I was doing the install. There is about 2.8 lbs reduction in rotating mass.

And a total reduction in weight of the belt drive from the stock driveline is about 2.9 lbs.
these pics are early build prototype photos. The c3 was in there so I could compare.

The Tki kit is cheaper, I think the c3 speed sensor kit makes it more expensive, and I can't remember the price differance.

Caper watch your top gear then as the all aluminum one could strip out after some use.
This picture is after about 3000 Kms

Be interesting to hear about gains from current belt drive owners.

Pfi is c3 top gear steel? Are the aluminum ones a problem?

The one in picture was the first ones. The new ones are steel inside with outside aluminum .
Ease of changing ratios also.
Mine was one of the first proto types.
