Hello, am new to forum, have 5 SkiDoo sleds, run Colo mtns, biggest is an '04 Summit 800 and it isn't running right, misses and backfires, won't exceed 7000 revs w. track elevated, plugs and wires are fine not that many hrs on this sled. Does it have a CDI ignition or something newer? I could always fix my earlier Summits, Skandic, and Nordic but this machine is complicated, elec start model w carbs water cooled. Son in Montana says don't ever use ethanol fuel but that's all there is around here. Have had to flush carbs with carb cleaner learned to drain them over summer (not easy to do) but this is an ignition problem.
