09 m8 stock except mbrp can and wondering who runs this intake and does it give you noticeable hp gains and throttle response, and any other opinions on this intake would be great, pics of what they look like installed would also be great.

I put one on my M1000. Nope, no HP gain. Shed's some weight though, and cleans things up under the hood. There are better things to spend your money on.

put the full BDX kit on mine, echo cycle gave me a good deal, sheds 7-8lbs(I measured and exact 7 on mine) no noticeable anything but a cleaner under hood as mentioned....until spring, this makes removing the hood way easier, for the $150 it was worth it to me

No hp gain but good way to drop some weight and clean up under the hood. Would not do this mod without adding some serious venting to allow for cool air and simple ventilation as you could end up with bog issues on the big pow days.

I run this kit on my M8 and have nothing but good things to say, i have never had a bog in the deepest of powder. plus by cleaning up space under the hood it allows more airflow which keeps your engine cooler and will lead to longer life and better performance.

I put the timbersled intake on my sled after the 200 mile break in. I now have 2400 miles on and all 2200 are in the mountains. I love my kit other than when coming down something steep and not being into the throttle it loads up pretty bad, but if you can braap the throttle coming down it will stay clean as a whistle. I only noticed on 2 days this year after 3.5 feet of snow it was having a hard time getting fresh air and was bogging out. Man does that piss you off coming down a hill and crossing a drainage ditch. Well i didnt make it thanks to bog. That same day i bought the big mod rods vent for the hood and no issues ever since
