Do the Etec's use a TPS of some type? Just wondering.

Sometimes seem to hear of issues on the Pro's with TPS, and never on the ETec's. Does BRP use a different type of system?

yes they do use a TPS. Not sure what type is on the Pro so i can't answer the other part of your question.

A friend of mine with a 13 pro has had trouble with his throttle block from the start. Hes been looking for a good aftermarket aluminum one but many people say to stay away from them beacuse of possible TPS issues. Does anyone know of an aftermarket throttle block that works welll?
