So, the American's rejected this Dubai based company back in 2006 to own/operate US ports due to national security issues but here in Canada we are good to go (subject to review). When will we stop selling our assets to foreign powers?? Stupid!

So Maher Terminals private company from New Jersey sells to a Dubai based company, what difference does that make? I'd say good for Prince Rupert, were no containers before 2007, now expanding to be a mjor player looks like a win for local employment.

I believe Maher are the operators of the facility not the owners. I believe the facility is owned by the Prince Rupert Port Authority. Not 100% but it is my belief.

not a big fan of the the Wheat Board but wow the Saudis are getting a awesome deal here. What on earth are our fearless leaders thinking? Saudis already have huge influences on oil prices (thru OPEC) now they wanna have the same for food. Keep selling us off Mr Harper!
