Did anyone actually get charged with all of the thefts that were happening out there this year?

2 of my buddies were broke into at Silent pass this year. Stole their wallets and broke 2 windows, almost got run over by the jackass when they were heading back up the road to their trucks.
Thief used credit cards immediately at the Mohawk in Golden (apparently no id required there) buying err stealing anything easilly resellable ie all their phone cards.
Thief was caught in Cochrane for speeding and as it turns out driving a stolen Dodge (who would steal a Dodge?) also had numerous other wallets.
Thief goes to court and gets 14 months, not sure how long he really will be there for or is probably out for finding the lord.
*****might as well just hold your own court for him****

So is that 24 months probation or jail time...hoping its jail. Seems most get off with a light slap on the wrist...and that's just wrong.
