I am thinking of getting one for my 13 pro. Just wondering how they are working and if they pose any risk to the engine. I've heard they cook great, are light but a little too loud.

A good buddy of mine has one that I ride with all the time. They sound great and I can smell his delicous lunch cooking when I am riding behind him lol. As far as I know he has not had any issues with it yet. You want more info on it just message quintinG

I love mine. No engine issues at all, great sound (a little loud but i have heard worse), cooks lunch in 15 minutes of riding. The boys at Backus Racing have them in stock.

Me and my buddy each have one. My sled is a '11, his a '12. They sound great and the cooking is awesome!! I bought mine from Backus Racing, they recommended adding a couple grams of weight to the primary because The Thing is supposed to flow better than stock. I didn't find that I needed to add weight, but my motor was toasted at the time anyway...

I have one on my '12. A little loud but it's like a hotdogger microwave. 15 Minutes to hot grub. 20 minutes to charred chicken sausage rolls.

Yup works great just way faster than a regular muffpot just remember that.

We've found that throwing a couple handfulls of [uncolored] snow helps minimize the charring... Sometimes the cook time is less than it takes to find the optimum dining area... :)

Love mine!!! Gone are the days throwing something in at the truck and having it ready by lunch (maybe). any type of long trail ride in, and it'll be cooked/burnt. I find the key is that as soon as you smell it, pull over cuz its done. Otherwise itll be burnt!!! The only drawback is i wish the can was the same size as the muff pot, or was all cooking chamber instead of 2. (just my opinion)

Ive got one on my 12 aswell. Im not all that sure if there is differences between the years. But i find that mines vibrates and and rattles pretty good. Doesnt seem to sit very well on the mounts. Ive tried snugging it better with different spring but with no improvments. Switched over from a Jaws. Miss the crisper noise of it, but you cant beat a nice toasty snack while your in the mountains.
