The old heads on the 2008-2009

Hey guys, I got a buddy that asked me this and i wasn't sure. I thought the 2008 head was higher compression than the 2009 before the replacement of all the heads to the current 2010 configuration. Am I right? Is the 2008 a 13.1 compression?

I talked him into the fix kit, ( he doesn't spend to much time on the internet) so he asked the question as to what head would be best with the fix kit if you could get you hands on one of the old stockers.

His sled is the 2009 Dragon model.

Yes the old 08 head is higher compression. Have heard of alot of guys going with that head and the fix kit with great results. Friend of mine put that set up on his 09 dragon and that things hauls and runs great. In the spring we had some brand new 08 heads in stock. I could check to see if we still have one.
