McD's launched their new self ordering kiosk yesterday in the 149 st and 111ave store. Tried it today. Pretty cool. The whole menu is there and allows special orders too. The main goal is relocate staff to where they are mostly required, in the prep and kitchen areas, according to the manager i spoke with. He said it will be creating more work and more positions.
Time will tell.

At least at one of those things me and it are using the same language. I at least have a fighting chance to get what I ordered.

Lol not the biggest fans. But I don't really have an issue with people coming here learn our language our ways of doing stuff or just trying to better there and there family's lives. It's the ones that come here and think we owe them something and want us to do stuff there way there language. But this is derailing the thread sorry that topic needs a thread of it's own lol

ok here's one or you; after 5mins of trying to get my order across to the "new Canadian" at the drive-thru I was frustrated enough to agree to the meals that she insisted on instead of a burger and shake for me and nuggets, large fries, medium coke for the kid. At the window I got the kids meal (wrong size) and that was it. I banged on the window and had to ask for the rest of the order, once I got it home I found the burger was raw, thank god the chicken wasn't. I phoned up there to complain and the manager is also philipino, his manager is east indian and the only white kid in the place was pushing a broom

SMS will be shipping 100+ big komatsu rock trucks to the new fort hills mine...they're going to be autonomous, this from one of the higher ups at SMS mining. The future is here, they will run 24/7 - 365. No overtime, sick days, labor disputes.

Personally, I would think they would try with something smaller, like a smart car or something, not a million+ lb rock truck lumbering around. Imagine if somebody hacked into the system, see a 960 Rock truck rolling through the new automated drive through at Mickie-D's in Fort Mac
