well he does work his a$$ of to make money.....which he spends on things he wants......he has a sled/quad/BMX bike/he just bought a mountain bike that he is so proud of because it has hydraulic disk brakes......

my point was that he can work his A$$ off making money but if he want to pull atitude I can still take it away....
there is alot of kids that need their a$$ kicked just to get them moving.

oh I forgot to say....he doesnt sit in front of it to play video games.....he got it for the hockey games....lol

What kid needs his parents when they have a 40" flat screen in their room.

ouch.....I guess he should not have a 40 inch TV.....but I guess the endless hours or quadding, jetskiing, sledding, working on all the toys, hanging out doing kids stuff........is a reflection of him wanting to sit in front of a TV all day long......Not....but thanks for the input Free rider.....I guess I should go get him the new 80 inch flat screen so he dont hang out with me as much.......but that wouldnt help.....he still like to work and play with me! A TV is not a baby sitter.....it is something to watch the hockey game on!

oh it was only a part of his disciplinary arsenal. it was "medium" level. the sausage sized HD mechanic finger snap to the head was "light"....

It wasn't a slight towards you or your kid. Once my kids get glued to the TV it's like nothing else in the world matters. I think its great that they go sledding and quading with you. It was more of a generalization of TV's in general. Sorry if I offended you. Not my intentions

"kids today" I don't really agree with that. Sure there are some troubled kids out there. My kids are pretty freakin awesome. Respectful and helpful. Super ambitious always willing to lend a hand. We have wood heat, I come home from work, wood is split, and the kitchen is clean. Since I've had to go to work full time they help with everything, so we operate as a family unit. We have a blast together, music is a huge part of our household, always jamming with guitars. The kids were homeschooled until now, and have adjusted awesomely. Their teachers Love my kids (pretty awesome teachers) and always comment about how hard working. The kids on the bus just told them that they were "spoiled with smartness".

So not Kids today.. I may have mommy vision, but I truly believe I have amazing kids.
