Tether Switch

I bought a 2 wire ( Black and white wires) Tether switch for when I'm bailing off the sled. Are guy's hooking directly to key switch or on a cat do you have to kill the coils before the key switch? any help on how and where to splice this kill switch would be handy. Thanks

I cant recall exactly how i installed mine but it came with detailed instructions and prob only took 10-15 min to install

Dealer told me today that it's just an inline splice, either white or black to the purple switch wire does not matter.

I got mine right from cat its all plug and play right off of the ignition no splicing all i did was plug in litterly took 5 min with drilling the mounting hole out.

Is anyone running the Teth-air cordless tether?? I installed one, easy install, works good! The ultimate test will be in revy on friday!!

Got my tether switch in! I did away with my Key, end up loosing the dang key all the time! Now I'm setup just like a 2011 Cat no key tether only. Mine's not chipped but don't have to worry about the key anymore! Thanks for the help fellow Cat owner's!
