Testing out a new product

So I brought a few sets of these ski dollies in and tested them out before offering them to customers. I found they are very reasonably priced and work quite well. The wheels are robust and the steel frames pretty tough. What makes them really nice is that they are so easy to install. Simply slide over the ski and rotate the handle down and it lifts the sled. Instructions say up to 6.5 inch wide ski.

They can use a little personal touches to make them perfect though.

So what I did was shorten the wheel bushings slightly with a bench grinder so the wheels have less slop and secondly shortened up 2 ratchet straps to over the top, back of the skis to synch tight so they can't move when I ride over gravel in my back alley.

We will retail for $155/pair and they also come with a slightly useless rear single rear wheel to put under the track. Likely would be okay for short lug tracks.

Do they adjust for different skis like others or one to fit all?

Answering the 2 questions. They are good on gravel to garage when I put a ratchet strap over the back of them. Otherwise they would move back and the ski tips forward. The manufacturer does make an adjustable width model but they are more expensive. These work with most skis so why bother with the adjustable.

This is all you need to secure them in place. Took a long time for me to come up with this simple solution.
