TCSC MINISTIK is CLOSED March 1, 2013 - NO sledding

HI All

The Tri-County Snowmobile Trail System in the "MINISTIK Bird Sanctuary" will close March 1

Just a note from Alberta Environmental & Sustainable Resources Department (ESRD) that they are closing the gates as of MARCH 1, 2013 for this season
The gates will reopen on December 1, 2013 or any date thereafter when we have 6" of snow
Please respect these closures by ESRD or we can lose the rights to ride there.

The closures are because the migratory birds are flying back to Ministik for nesting and feeding therefore it is open to only foot traffic and no motorized or horse traffic

Thanks for looking after this trail system Brian, I got a chance to ride this winter and will go back next year.
