What about just throwing a back pack on the front rack? That is what I do. Quick and easy.

OGIO makes great bags for front or rear racks that are pretty much universal. They strap on with 9 velcro straps, are as tough as he11, and have a lifetime warrany. I busted a couple of straps rolling my machine down the side of a mountaine and OGIO replaced my bag for free. They are water prrof too as long as you don't go in deeper than the lid of the bag - I've had them submerged right up to the lid and didn't even get my TP damp.

Personally, I just like 'em beacause they are easy to take off and put back on for washing, maintenance, etc.
