Tach not working 2003 RMK 800

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My tach isn't working on my 2003 |RMK 800. (NOT SURE WHERE TO START TROUBLE SHOOTING)

what about all the other acc. warmers,lights etc. could be melted plug or some wires came unplugged going to the stator

If it is like my 2000, pull the driveshaft bearing housing(3 bolt) off just under the secondary, There is a square key in there that could be broken or the actual spedo peice is siezed, If thats not it undo the cable at you guage and try and turn the cable it could be broke somewere in ther.

not as confused as he is now but that is the right fix for a speedo

Thanks guys I will take a peek and see what I can find, My speedo and Odometer arent working either. I will check this fix out as well.
