I was told yes by Tracks Canada (Curtis) when I was looking at the same thing for my Apex. As long as your adjusters have at least 1/2" of throw left in them.

Thanks for that! I wasn't quite sure, and the reason i ask is i've put together a new suspension with 163 rails but my current track is a 162x15x2.5. I was going to try to install anyways to see if it fits but i'm waiting on some parts to finish and thought i'd ask to see who's done it.

Sorry, I was thinking the other way around (162 skid and 163 track - Curtis gave the :thumbsup2: to this).

I would think 163 skid and 162 track should work as well. Are you running a 2wheel kit? Depending on where your sliders end relative to your rear axle you might need to watch for rub with a 2wheel kit.

you can there's only a 1/2" difference in the installed length

I would think along this same lines as well, so long as the only geometry change you made from the 162 was the addition of the longer rails. If you made a change to the length of the arms (i.e. longer) there is more chance it might not fit but probably still will so long as the change was not very drastic. The adjustment on the rear axle is a life saver and as stated by goodtogo and shawn, the distance to push back or ahead is only have of the track length distance so that makes it much more likely to fit.

I orginally had a holz and i measured the Timbersled and holz, the front arms were very close but on the rear the Timber arm was an inch or so longer. I'll try it and see what happens, i may be changing tracks, i'll let you know!

You'll still probably be OK IMO, assuming all other things equal, most tracks stretch a bit so 1" isn't a big deal on the rear arm and the rails, I would guess it should fit, just might have to suck the rear idlers all the way forward. :D
