Out riding my Nytro on Tuesday on and around Sturgeon River. Some crazy deep snow for my short track; had to be careful where I stopped and still got stuck a coupla times. Watch out for the Sturgeon, riders. Even with the cold we got, there is lots of wet spots on it so don't let off the gas if you seem like you've slowed right down. Probs better to stay off of it eh?:nono: Anyways I'm new to this site but not to sledding. Over the years these were my sleds:

1969? Massey one banger, carb at front of JLO, rope start. Very reliable but slow
1972 Ski Whiz, Massey again, terrible piston melting 440 JLO Rockwell
1974 Panther 440, flawed Kawi motor
New 1983 Yamaha SS, loved that sled
1998 600MM Yamaha, very good machine, very versatile
Now, 08 Nytro. Not sold on the 4 stroke yet but great low end torque.

Some pics from the other day attached and looking for riding buddies around Edmonton and area.

Nice pics.... North of st albert has some of the best riding.... its even better when you get north of Morinville...very few fences, wide open fields...a ride out to Lily Lake or Legal/Clyde/Westlock/Athabasca is always a good time. We head to Waskatenau lots to stage and hit the Ironhorse trail....its a blast.....
