Spot the Differences: 2010 vs 2011 Summit

What are the differences between the '10 and '11 Summits?
What I have read is that the '11s are better in side-hilling and turning in deep snow.
What did BRP change? Is it easy to make those changes to a 2010 so it acts like a 2011?
Doing some research before buying in the future.

You can buy the s36 handling package from your doo dealer.
Other difference is the engine. Personally, I love my etec. Best stock sled on the market imo.

Yes s36 front end and new Etec vs previous Ptek. Ptek is still available though.

Didn't the 2010 Summits have the ETEC engine?

What is different in the S36 package? Are there parts on a 2010 that can be upgraded without changing everything on the suspension?
I'd rather buy a 2011 if a 2010 can't be easily updated. (don't want to go through "make my Renegade like the mountains" again)

600 etec was available in 09.
It's quite easy to change the 10 to handle like an 11, but if I were you I would just get the 11 right off the bat.

I think you are right but there seems to be some good deals on 2010's.
Thinking about it now maybe the big handling improvements in 2011 is the reason.

U could get the p-tek and e tech in 11

I have a 10. Have been working at it to see if i can get it to not ride like a buffalo with out the s36 kit cause they still are out of stock...

It's a good deal for what u get-money

My 10's for sale in kijiji. Looking to go back to a rev again.
