Sportsman headlights.....

I have a polaris sportsman 700 2006 with the 3 headight system, 2 on the front and 1 on the pod. When the lights are on low just the 2 lower lights come on and on high just the upper light on the pod comes on. Is there anyway of getting all 3 to come on on high? I inquired at the dealer and he just told me that having all 3 lights on would over load the electrical system. Anyone else done this??

I guess it would depend on what wattage the high beam is,.. I am thinking the lows are probably 35w each and the high his an additional 55w. I don't foresee this as being a problem as long as the battery is in good order.

There are plenty of utv's that run an extra couple of 55w lights at night with no problems. I am about to hook up a couple of 55w road lights for my rhino as my headlights are not bright enough for me even on high.

quadovador.com has the 3 light mod. I had it on my 800 low beams 2 lower turn on high and all 3 come on. Check out their other mods for the popo. I had the 3 light mod, reverse override,backup light mod,etc etc. They are all about the popo PS it will short your system, mine did their kit makes it work proper.

I bought a couple of 3 light kits off Ebay about 4 years ago. It came with instructions to eliminate the reverse override. I think I might still have one kit kicking around. I will look tomorrow, if I can find it, you can have it for free.

I purchased these products also and installed them on my 08 700 X2 so far so good.
The reverse override is a must have for snow plowing.
