I have never heard of a speedwerx controller. It is dobeck style box or boondocker box?

it the same as a attitude box, simular to the boondocker but runs with series of lights for cruise, accelerate, full throttle etc. I can get mine to work either but from the number of post on 08-09 M1000 bog issues i am doubting the controller is to blame. I have yet to find anything that works

one other thing, speedwerx told me to buy the powe commander five to fix the problem. I'm assuming that the nice way of calling me an idiot, because its a pre loaded map. Has anyone else tried the power commander and cured this bogging issue?

I don't know what you are riding but I have a modded m 1000 that I couldn't tune perfectly. either I had it set too lean and would risk burning it up or it was too rich and didn't run right. I got a powercommander V and a map from eric at racinstation and my sled runs awesome. just tell him exactly what mods you have and he will build you a map that works.

I had two M1000's in the shop this weekend that had PC5's on them and they both bogged badly. They tried the slp map and they tried the map from racin station and both didn't work well. Check your power valves to make sure that they are adjusted right and clean and moving freely. I'm not a fan of the PC5 really because if it is running lean or rich you can't adjust it on the hill. I am familiar with the attitude boxes and one thing to watch with them is they are not very water proof. I run an '08 M1000 with a speedwerx exhaust and intake changes and i run a boondocker box and it runs great no bogs at all.

Where's your ECU tube? Try moving it around to different spots, get it away from anything hot.
