I have search other threads and looking for some help.
We went riding yesterday 20 km south of Brazeau Dam just looking around.Until we got drowned by the rain.
Are their a lot of trails near that bridge or did we not see them?
Or are most of the trails by dam or around that area?
Thanks:)

you know, i had a group out there a few weeks back. We put on 40 miles trying to do the loop they claim there is. The trail system is a mess! People turn the signs leading you in the wrong direction and what not. We also thought about getting a local to take us and we GPS it all. But we have not decided when and who to ask!

I go to the Brazeau a few times a year. There are trails all around the power house end and there is a 30 km trail that follows the old river bed from the reservoir to the power house. It's not too difficult, so inexperienced riders can ride it comfortably and the scenary is nice. There are also trails around the north east side of the reservoir that follow some cutlines that seem to be almost endless and you can see the mountains in the distance to the west. (Just follow the dyke on the north side of the road). There is also some descent mud riding on those northeast trails. I think that there are some good trails to the south of the reservoir too, but I haven't ridden them yet...soon though.
